What Causes Irregular Periods After An Abortion?

I had an abortion about just under two months ago. I am currently half way through my second pill pack, my periods are very irregular since the abortion. Taking cold and flu things can that stop my pill from working. I have noticed this week I have been very bloated. I came on last week some time due to having a cold. Is there a chance I could be pregnant again?

hi healthcare magic user, if you have some remaining products of conception ,endometritis can give you post abortion bleeding. if I would have been your doctor I would have advised you to get ultrasound done, few blood tests such complete blood count , TSH.
sometimes if you take oral contraceptive pills irregularly that can irregular bleeding. if you are having any antibiotics for flu may change your period pattern.
