What Causes Irregular Periods After Delivering A Baby?

Hi Doctor,

I just delivered a baby girl November 13th 2010, but i saw my menses during the 4th, 5th and 6th week after delivery, but then after it ceased completely till now. Am presently breast feeding my baby since I gave birth to her, please can you explain the causes of the cessation of the menses? t
