What Causes Irregular Periods After Stopping Breast Feeding?

Hi Ive been on carrezett for 10 months since i had my baby.While I was nursing i had no periods or bleeding.I stopped nursing 3 months ago and since ive had irregular bleeding.last week I had a 8 day period and then 5 days after i started bleeding again I want it to stop already so should I start Yasmin rite away?
