What Causes Irregular Periods After Taking Thyroxine Sodium?

hello doctor, I am 34 years old. i am having hypothyroid TSH is 12 and i am taking Thyroxine sodium 50mcg. Before taking the pills my mensuration cycle was regular of 28 days but after taking it for two times my period is delay by 6 days. why this is happing. is this is because i am taking the Pills . please suggect me.
