What Causes Irregular Periods Along With Frequent Urination And Constipation?
I have pcos. I don t have regular periods. I don t know when I ovulate. but I had unprotected sex with my botfriend several times. I m always nauseous. I m always going to the bathroom to urine. I always have headaches and I m always hungry. I do look bloated but that might be because I ve been constipated and not been able to take a poop. I did however take a poop today but my belly is still the same size. do you know what might be wrong?
Constipation and PCOS are separate conditions that need each its own treatment. For constipation, you may take Movicol 2 sachets a day till you get normal bowel movements and then one a day for another couple of weeks. Take food high in fiber and drink plenty of water.
As for PCOS, you may take oral contraception to have regular periods and if you want to conceive (get pregnant) you may take Clomiphene.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
Regards,
Antoneta Zotaj,
General and Family Physician
