What Causes Irregular Periods Along With Pre-menstrual Symptoms?

Hello, I m a 21 year old female and I have noticed over the past few months than my periods have started to come later and later every month. I m experiencing a lot more pms symptoms than usually which extend from about two weeks before my period, and continue all the way through my period.

Hi,

There are many causes of irregular periods, most common being stress. If you are having irregular periods in 3-4 consecutive cycles then I would recommend seeing a gynecologist.

If PMS symptoms are lasting this long (3 weeks in total every cycle) I would suggest getting antidepressant treatment for it if your gynecologist does not find any medical condition responsible for it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
