What Causes Irregular Periods And Brown Discharge While Having E.Coli And UTI?

my periods are off and very crazy often... ever since being diagnosed with e-coli after a UTI.. I have been wanting and needing to go get a papsmear but don t want to while I m still bleeding and have also had brown thick discharge which I looked up and looks like cervical cancer, which cancer does run in the family so what should I do what should I get checked?

Brown vaginal discharge is usually seen in irregular periods , less often in endometrial cancer and cervical cancer. The dr will take discharge fluid sample or will do pap smear( to collect cervical cells) to confirm or rule out cancer. If it is cancer usually one will have severe pelvic pain and bleeding. we need to know your age,weight,other accompanying problems like diabetes,any pain during and bleeding after intercourse, as well as physical examination to plan for treatment.majority of gynaecologists donot mind examining while bleeding,and you need not hesitate to get examined,as this will delay your diagnosis and treatment which is detrimental to your health. UTI needs treatment with antibiotics course which will be suggested by gyn dr. You need to take plenty of fluids like fruit juices,butter milk which will help in washing away the bacteria.
