What Causes Irregular Periods And Brown Vaginal Discharge?

Hello. My period is supposed to start in 6 days. I have irregular periods. My last period was August 22, 2017. On September 9th and 11th (12 days before my expected period) I went to the bathroom and wiped and it was light pink watery like discharge. Only for those two days. And then today ( 6 days before my expected period) I went to the bathroom and when I wipe it s light brown just when I wipe...what is this!?

Since you have a history of irregular periods, the bleeding or light brown discharge may indicate that your period will soon be starting.

If your periods persist in being irregular, then you may need to be assessed to find the cause.
Causes of irregular periods include--(1) emotional stress or illness
(2)abnormal levels of thyroid hormone
(3)physical illness
(4)abnormal levels of prolactin hormone
(5)inadequate diet or nutrition
(6)excess physical activity
(7)polycystic ovarian syndrome
