What Causes Irregular Periods And Changes In Cycle?

Hello, I am 31 years old and have irregular periods. My gyne checked my thryroid levels and progesterone and estrogen levels in March, she everything everything was normal and I was ovulating. My periods range from: 29, 32, 38, & 42 days. I had my copper IUD removed 19 days ago. I am 37 days past my last menstration. I took an ovulation predictor kit and got the peak symbol on cycle day 18. I was expecting either my period or a positive pregnancy test by now. any thought?

Hi, I have gone through your question. There can be both possibilities, either pregnancy or delayed periods. I would suggest you to get urine pregnancy test. If you have already done one, and it was negative, then I would suggets You to repeat the test after one week if you don't get your periods by then. sometimes, there is a delayed conception, and hence the pregnancy test comes positive a bit later. If your test is negative even after one week, I would suggest you to consult your OBGYN specialist for prescribing you medicines for the periods to occur.
