What Causes Irregular Periods And Vaginal Spotting?

Hello, I m 35 years old and I ve been having irregular periods. Usually every month, it comes 5 days before but this month it came 3 days late. My period was on and off for a week with just spotting following with very heavy period with blood clots. I was going through 9 pads a day. Now I m still going into 14 days of period. As of now I have cramps, and spotting. Is there a reason I should be concern and go to the doctor? Thank you for you time!

Hello there. I have read through your question and would like to tell you that there can be many causes for irregular periods like Hypothyroidism, PCOS , hormonal imbalance due to stress etc. I would advise you to get a thyroid profile done.
