What Causes Irregular Periods And Vomiting After Removing Copper T?

I am having irregular cycles after removing the copper T, its like 28, 34, 25, 38, 32 days.

I am 30 yrs old, I have a son of 2.7 yrs. Recently i consulted a doctor because of the irregular periods and the vomiting sensation i had for many days. i underwent a vaginal scan, and she said i had poly cystic appearing ovaries. Is it difficult to conceive now? How can this be treated.

Hello,

Irregular periods are caused due to anemia, poor general health condition, thyroid issues, stressful lifestyle, emotional problems, hormonal imbalance, PCOS, obesity, addictions, pregnancy, etc. Since you have removed Copper T and are feeling nauseous, you should get urine test done to rule out pregnancy if you have done unprotected intercourse. Try to stay away from stress. Take home made nutritious balanced food. Avoid addictions ( smoking, caffeine, alcohol, etc) if any. Switch to healthy lifestyle, do regular walking and exercises. Reduce weight if obese. Cut on carbs, sweets, oily, spicy junk food. Take whole cereals, fruits, berries, veggies, protein rich diet and food rich in minerals(iron, calcium, etc).

Take adequate sleep and stay well hydrated. For regular periods you can take Uterine tonics. Your system should improve. If you are still having problems, then you need treatment . Get clinically examined. Get complete health check up done. It will include all routine blood, urine and imaging tests. You will be treated accordingly. If you have polycystic ovary, you will require infertility treatment as due to imbalance in female sex hormone, development and release of mature eggs does not occur. Without ovulation there 's no conception. Get treated so that you can conceive.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
