What Causes Irregular Periods Post Intake Of Primolut N?

It was during Ramadam fasting time. I took primullute N two days to see my period so dat it will stop it. Usually I use to take it when I didn t see my period or wants to stop it. After taking it I see my period within 7 days. But now for more than a month I have not seen it what do I do now?

Delayed period by month after taking primolut-N is not normal. But it may be due to fasting state as change in the dietary habit cause delayed period. In addition, you have to investigate the other cause of the delayed period like pregnancy (if you have sex in the fertile phase of the cycle), hormonal imbalance, ovarian cyst, endometriosis, and thyroid dysfunction. Consult the gynecologist and undergo investigations like reproductive and thyroid analysis, USG scan, and ovarian follicle study. Periods can be induced by the high dose of progesterone. Avoid stress and drink plenty of water.
