What Causes Irregular Periods While On Implanon IUD?

I am in the last months on my implanon iud. my periods went from almost absent to now being about ten days long. I ve been feeling lots of lower abdomen discomfort, not quite cramps though. i barely bleed on my pads but during urination very dark rich looking blood and sometimes tissue that varies and size flows out. should i be worried?

I have gone through your question and I understand your concern. Although contraceptives such as IUD have the side effect of causing irregular menstrual cycle, abdominal discomfort etc, I would recommend you consult your local gynecologist for detailed clinical evaluation and further management accordingly. Also if these side effects are bothersome for you even if everything appears to be normal you can opt for an alternate method of contraception for future.
