What Causes Irregular Periods While On Implanon?

I am on Implanon and it is due to expire October 2015. My last period was at the beginning of christmas. I can't say that i have any pain that i have noticed but my stomach seems a little bloated. today (1/30/15) my husband and i had intercourse and then a few hours later i noticed that i was bleeding but it was very light and almost a clear pink. I have also had weight gain since i last had a period. i have had a period every month on implanon and this is the first time it has been irregular. thank you in advance.

Hi..
Welcome to HCM..
You don't have to worry as irregular periods can happen with implanon though yours were regular..
You are having a normal period with slightly altered flow..
Bloating might not be related to this and weight gain is possible with implanon..
Everything is alright..Don't worry..Take care..
