What Causes Irregular Periods With Abdominal Cramps?

i have irregular periods n i want to get pregnant . its 38 days and i havnt had my priods. though i took this strip test which came out negative thrice..but i am observing cramps in my lower abdomen. is it possible tha i am pregnant ? n if not what shouldi do?
