What Causes Irregular Periods With Clots After Quitting Smoking?

Hi I am 44 female, gave up smoking 3 months ago and have had irregular heavy periods since then with clots present. Have always been very regular and light. I also suffer uncomfortable stomach bloating and flatulence over last few months & not sleeping very well also. Is all this related to having quit smoking.
