What Causes Irregular Periods With Heacy Bleeding And Clotting?

I have had irregular periods for most of my life. I am not sexually active and am not on the pill. About two months ago I start have a constant period. The bleeding is quite heavy and I often have clotting of blood. I constantly tired and can sleep any chance I get.
