What Causes Irregular Periods?

I have been keeping track of my menstrual cycle and noticed that it varies a lot in length. It seems that every other month is around 31 days but then alternating months have huge differences and usually on the longer side (40-50) days. I'm wondering what possible causes could be for this alternation.

Hi,
It seems that there might be having some hormonal disturbance might caused this problem.
Stress and some thyroid problem do cause this problem as well.
Go for 3-4 hormonal cyclic courses after consulting your Gynaec.
This will regularize your period.
Ok and take care.
