I am 27 yr old female , for the 1st time in this month i got ma period twice but me not even sure its periods or just bleeding. ma periods are very regular . i had got on 2nd January, 2016 and now got today again ,what can be the reasons for this pls rpy thanks
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Irregular periods could be caused due to several reasons. At your age of 27, it could be caused commonly due to hormonal imbalance or emotional factors such as stress. In case you are sexually active, small amount of bleeding could be caused during ovulation or implantation of fertilized ovum. Kindly wait for the regular periods to happen. In case it is delayed, you need to take a urine pregnancy test. If such irregular bleeding continues, you need to get the following tests done: 1. Blood for FSH, LH and Prolactin levels. 2. Ultrasound scan of abdomen and pelvis. Kindly consult Gynecologist for further evaluation and management. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
