What Causes Irregular Periods?

Hi, I am 39 yrs old I had my youngest daughter 13yrs ago while being on clomid since her birth I have never taken any contraceiption, my periods are like clockwork and heavy however this month they started very light for about an hour then a couple of days later the same thing and again today each time has been 3-4 days apart what could be causing this
