What Causes Irregular Periods?

am 25, Usually have irregular periods trying to concieve .No periods for two months and two pregnancy Urine test came out negative doc prescribed duphaston for five days after which i need to take a blood test if i dont get my periods today is my third day of taking tabs. I observe Lower Left Abdamon Pain . what could be the reason.
