Hi,
Perimenopause consists of
hormonal imbalance, so the periods are irregular, also intestinal movements are hampered to cause more gas &
bloating of abdomen. Bloating can cause urgency and incomplete bowel movements.
Only thing is as you rightly doubted.
Food allergies, bowel infections & infestations need to be excluded with needful investigations even
irritable bowel syndrome can get triggered with the hormonal imbalance.
Try to have lactose free/
gluten free staple food (rice) with sufficient veges, salads & fruits (fibers) with protein containing food & sufficient water.
Continue daily exercises for 45 minutes till weight is controlled. Start with treatment suggested by gastroentomologist. You would be alright in few months.
