What Causes Irregular Spotting After A Noristerat Injection Shot?
I m on nuristerate injections for birth control. Been having odd periods that last 2 weeks or more. At the moment my period started last week. It began as spotting than a light flow. The blood is grainy and looks like sand and my flow is extremely low. What can I do to get back to my normal cycle?
The most common side effect of the birth control shot is irregular bleeding. Most women will adjust to the hormone levels of a birth control shot in several months or after a few rounds of treatment. Serious problems are very rare.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
