What Causes Irregular Vaginal Bleeding Despite Having Safe Sex?

Hi doctor I have a sex few days back and I used condom but wen I was done was removing it first I thought it is condom lubricant that I m feeling but then I got to know it is not that so we guyz came up to a decision to take a pill and since then she started getting regular bleedings and this month her periods that usually come on 9th not came yet

Most of the time, its nothing to worry when you bleed after taking an emergency pill, cause the progestin alone or the progestin combined with estrogen (hormones in the pill) can cause bleeding at unexpected times. It is expected to go away itself after your next period comes. but you should also know that unusual bleeding can also be caused by some other reasons. its better to lookout for symptoms like if the bleeding lasts for more than a few days or if it gets heavier. after a contraceptive pill, your period should happen within the next month- a week before or after you normally would expect. i would recommend you to get a pregnancy test done if her periods doesn't come when expected, also it would be better to consult an OBGyn specialist for anything serious.
