What Causes Irregular Vaginal Spotting After Having Intercourse?
I am wondering if I am pregnant? I have not had a period in August and last week I spotted for three days and on the third day I had some discharged with a little blooded in it also my boyfriend an I had sex and I spotted a a little right after and stop with in an hour that was the fourth day.my periods have been irregular since I had my son who is now nine months
A pregnancy test would determine if you are pregnant. These tests are accurate if done 11 to 14 after possible conception so if this time has passed then the test can be done.
There are other causes of delayed period such as: (1) emotional stress or illness (2)thyroid disease (3)physical illness (4)high levels of the hormone prolactin (5)PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) (6)inadequate diet or excess physical activity
If a pregnancy test is done and it is negative then you may need to consider testing for one of these conditions. This would involve blood tests and an ultrasound
I hope this helps
