What Causes Irregularities In Menstruation?

I had sexual intercourse with my boyfriend the week before my period. I missed my period the following week, which was when it was supposed to come. But now, a week later after my period was supposed to come, I began my period. Is there any possible way i can be pregnant? Or am I an my menstral cycle?
