What Causes Irregularities In Periods?

Hello, I'm 24 years old. I have two kids and my period was always regular, therefore, I had no problems getting pregnant. It has been a couple of months now that I have been irregular. Why is that? Let's say that last month I got my period on the 17th, the next time I will get it until the 26th. Is that normal?
