What Causes Irregularity Of Periods At The Age Of 13?
hi, I am unmarried. when i was 13-14 yr old, i got my Ist period. After that there was always seen irregularity in my period. After some time, my period got stopped for 2-3 year and continued when i took some pills after concerning to doctor. After this, when i take the pills then only I used to get my periods. I was taking dronis 30 as prescribed by doctor for 8 months. But now I discontinued taking pills. Now I am getting married in 4 months. I have fear of not being able to get pregnant. I want to have normal period. How to get normal periods?? Can I get pregnant after having this problem??

At the menarche, that is starting to get periods, usually periods are irregular. It is because in the beginning periods are anovulatory that is egg is not getting formed. So that was normal. But then you didn't get periods for 2-3 years . There can be many reasons for it like thyroid problem, PCOD or anything. Then you took Dronis 30 for 8 months during which you got normal periods. In my opinion you should go for some tests to the reason for irregular periods. like ultrasound abdomen and pelvis, thyroid profile and serum prolactin.and get treatment accordingly.
But now with knowing your history there is no reason for not getting pregnant.
Relax you will get pregnant , may be with support of some treatment from doctor.
