What Causes Irritated Nose Along With Excessive Mucus In Nose?

I m currently taking Adderall 20mg 2x a day. It seems to irritate my sinuses and cause drainage& mucus. I ve always had issues with my sinus. I ve had septoplasty done about 10yrs ago but didn t help much seems like my deviated septum worsened as well as my sinuses. What OTC can I take for my sinus that wont interact with the Adderall??? Thanks

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Adderal may be the reason for excessive mucus production. But with the history of septoplasty I would like to advise you the following.
Clinical evaluation by an ENT Surgeon.
CT scan of the nose and sinuses.
The treatment has to be according to the findings and reports not by what you think. This has to be evidence based.
This is the only thing that makes cure possible.
I hope that this answer helps you.
