What Causes Irritation And Discomfort In The Neck?

Since April 2017 I have had stiff/tight neck and upper back muscles (Trapezius). A few months after, I now cannot wear any collared shirts as it irritates my neck and has a kind of prickly/hot feeling almost instantly. I can wear it for a few hours but it can be agony.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having milirial rashes on neck.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral vitamin c taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
