What Causes Irritation Between The Anus And Testicles?

I have an irritation between my anus and my testicles. I think it is inflamed from rubbing between my underwear and the skin. I walked 30,000+ steps yesterday. I am just putting lotion on it to reduce friction. No irritation unless I am walking. Should I continue to just use lotion or do you recommend something different?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
the irritation could be due to friction during walking steps or could be something else.

check the area and see if there is redness. is it itchy?
if there is excessive moisture there you could have candida infection which will cause redness and irchyness?
if the pain is due to frictions lotion could help
if it is due to candida lotion could worsen as it could create further moisture.

make sure after bath you dry your body well to avoid moisture.
if it is candida you require a topical antifungal from a doctor.
other than that it could be also a skin problem like eczema. Eczema can also cause what you are experiencing.
