What Causes Irritation, Chills And Abdominal Discomfort After Vaginal Douching?

after douching, had local irritation for a week and within a day had chills, fatigue, and abdonimal discomfort. Dr. thought maybe pid brewing. took oral antibiotics, felt better except for pelvic discomfort on one side. when finished antibiotics, did some mild exercise and symptoms all returned, including air traveling throughout. bloodwork comes back negative. could there be an abcess or some other lingering complication? this is going on for a month
