What Causes Irritation During Urination Post Surgery For Kidney Stones?
I had a surgery for Kidney stone and during surgery Surgeon has put DJ Stent from Kidney to Uretor. Now after seven days, I getting irritation during Urinating or otherwise averagely I have to drink water nearly about 1 lit in an average of time 1 hr. 20 min. What should I do?

The irritation during urination is completely normal after the post surgery for kidney stones. I recommend to drink liquids and especially cranberry juice. I also suggest using anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day to relieve the symptoms. The irritation will probably go away on its own gradually.
