What Causes Irritation In Chest, Shoulders And Arms After A Heart Attack?
I had a heart attack marcl 21st of this year. I don t have a history of high blood pressure, chloseterol . I am taking blood thinners and asparin and cholesterol medicine. I have a small blockage but not in main ateries. But I also have elevated ck levels that somehow irritate my chest and shoulders and arms. I have been to many doctors and leave with bs answers as arthritis and anxiety. then why do they put me on all this heart medicine. It has more side effects than I do
All medications , unfortunately have potential side effects which may or may not occur. Most persons do not experience any or only a few of the possible effects.
Because of the history of a heart attack, you are at risk of another heart attack or other complications such as a stroke. This is the reason for the cholesterol medication and blood thinners. They would decrease the risk of any complications occurring.
If the specific medications used do not agree with you then you can speak to your doctor and an alternative used if possible.
I hope this helps
