What Causes Irritation In The Eyes Post Cornea Transplantation?

I had corneal transplant in both eyes. I had irritation possibly a rejection in both eyes and was given steroid drops and took them 4 times a day. My one eye went back to normal in about 30 hours but the other eye got blurry for 10 days now. I had the eye specialist check my eyes and he said they were healthy and he cannot understand my my vision has not improved. I stopped taking the steroids 3 days ago in case they were causing the problem but my vision has not improved. Any suggestions?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to eye infection.

For that I would suggest you to consult with ophthalmologist for detailed medical examination.

You may require antibiotics eye drops.

Avoid repeated eye touching. Maintain proper hygiene.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
