What Causes Irritation On Penis During Intercourse While On Nuvaring?

Hi. I ve recently started using the Nuvaring. The annoying part is that during intercourse, my boyfriend feels the nuvaring. After intercourse you can see irritation on his penis from the nuvaring. Am i not putting it in too deep? I really cant push it up any further than I do already..

Hi.

Speak to your doctor who can help assist you to place the nuvaring properly. It is possible that you have not placed it adequately enough which is causing him the irritation. your doctor has devices to push it further inside safely and in a sterile manner.
