What Causes Itch And Soreness In Vagina?

hi. my boyfriend & i have been messing around the past few days, not sex or anything. well he s been fingering me & it started hurting so i told him to stop. well today i noticed i was really sore & now i have this itching like deep inside my vagina & i cannot get it to stop. i cant reach the itch either. what could it be & what do i need to do about it?
