What Causes Itchiness Around The Labia?

in the last few months have had very itchy easily irritated outer labia. it also frequently feels almost 'creepy crawly' where it itches, with no odor or discharge. i also have been getting goosebumps very frequently,its very much a pain because i have a terrible time shaving my lets.i have only recently become sexually active again after 3 yrs, but not having intercourse. am wondering if these two are related?i am m 38 yrs old.
