What Causes Itchiness Of Scalp?

I had a not come up on my head Friday and by the end of the day I had a new one above it. My ear hurts, my scalp itches especially on the knots and the knots hurt. since Friday they have doubled in size. My neck hurt, all of this is on the right side of my head.
