What Causes Itching All Over The Chest?
I am 56 white male--have severe itching over entire chest area--has gone on for at least one week--no change in diet, medications, it is not poison ivy, etc. no use of starch in shirts, no change in laundry detergent.. Allergy medicine such as Claritin has no relief

It is mostly suggestive of some fungal infection for which you can take some antibiotic like cefadroxyl or moxikind-cv after an expert opinion along with avil or cetrizine for itching. You can use valnerate-c or clobit-gm cream for local application. Take some multivitamin and maintain the hygiene of the body.
