Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have a few questions. I have been with my partner for a few weeks now, the first time we had sex, I was okay, nothing happened. I had also given him oral. Nothing happened. The next time we had sex the next morning I woke up feeling a little itchy. I didn t think anything of it. Then next day I started to become more itchy and noticed some white discharge. At this point I knew it was a yeast infection but still ignored it. Then on Friday night, we had sex again (he wore a condom). But now I have a bladder infection which has possibly turned into a kidney infection and I have blisters on my vagina. They resemble herpes, but it s not herpes because he has been tested and is clean. I also would have had herpes on my mouth because of oral sex. Please help me. I am in pain and I can t pee and I don t know what these pus blisters are.
Most probably it is due to vaginal yeast infection. We have to rule out other conditions like vaginal herpesbacterial vaginosis also. Sexually transmitted diseases (STD) can also cause this symptoms. As of now you can apply Clotrimazole (candid) lotion for cleansing your genitals. If symptoms persist, consult a gynecologist and get a vaginal swab done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
