What Causes Itching And Burning Sensation Around My Vulva And Anus Area?

Hi, I am 18 and am experiencing itching, burning and irritation around my vulva and anus area, but not in the vagina. I had a surgical abortion 10 days ago, took my prescription and restarted birth control. the itching and burning has also produced a rash. what could this be and what could I do to help alleviate the pain?

Hi,

You seem to have perianal and perivulval dermatitis. It may be either irritant or allergic contact dermatitis. There may be some cause.. Local medicine, soap, clothes, powder, antiseptic like savlone,betadine if you have applied, fluid from anus or vagina..etc .You consult dermatologist for firm doagnosis and treatment. Local antibiotic with mild steroid application might improve. Take Sitz bath in dettol water. Orally antihistaminic,antibiotics and steroids in tappering dose might be helpful in curing the disease. I hope you got my answer.
