What Causes Itching And Burning Sensation In The Groin Area?

I have noticed and felt discomfort from an excoriated area in the skin directly in both groin areas, itchy, burning, bright red, and some raised bumps as well. Any thoughts on this, a difficult area to keep dry. Thank you. YYYY@YYYY
