What Causes Itching And Burning Sensation In The Vaginal Area?
Hi.my vulva region is really itchy and it burns when I urinate. I ve recently gone on the pill (just over 2 weeks) on the 7th day me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex and my doctor said I shouldnt get pregnant? I was a virgin before then and when we had sex I bled quite a bit. Now everything we have sex there is a little blood when I clear up. I have also noticed slight pelvic cramps. Their like very mild period pains. Was just wondering what was going on especially with the itching as it is driving me insane. Also my boyfriend is clear from chlamydia

The symptoms are more consistent with infective causes like yeast or bacterial vaginosis. Consult a gynaecologist and plan for a vaginal swab to confirm the diagnosis. As of now, you can use clotrimazole lotion to cleanse your genitals.
