What Causes Itching And Burning Sensation On The Body?

I have been having itchy burning skin (generalized) . other s/s of acne ringing in ears, thready bowels with mucous and diarrhea. Also headaches with a buzzing noise. Have had problems with memory, insomnia muscle twitching. Sometimes I feel as if I am on fire. On occasions I have had nausea and slight to severe vertigo

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itching and burning sensation on the body , you also have buzzing noise and headache which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection which is caused by viral/ bacterial microorganism. It could be due to dehydration , vitamin deficiency , diabetes , allergic reaction and burning mouth syndrome. I would suggest you to drink plenty of fluids and suck on sugar free candies. Avoid intake of outside food. Avoid spicy and salty food substances. You should visit general physician once and get it examined. You should go for throat swab test , viral culture test and get blood tests done and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe antibacterial or anti viral depending upon the diagnosis . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist for ear problem. Doctor may also prescribe multivitamin along with ginkgo biloba. You should take steam inhalation. You should take antiallergic medication such as Levocetirizine. Take proper course of antibiotic .
