What Causes Itching And Burning Sensation On Vagina After Intercourse?

this has happened before but it went away after around 24hrs. but basically, every time after sex, i get an itchy vagina and a burning sensation while peeing. i also bleed and not because of period. i constantly feel the urge to go to the toilet but then nothing comes out but blood from my vagina. is this because of penetrating g spot? or is it a UTI?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are more consistent with infective causes like yeast or bacterial vaginosis. Consult a gynaecologist and plan for a vaginal swab to confirm the diagnosis. As of now, you can use clotrimazole lotion to cleanse your genitals.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
