What Causes Itching And Discomfort In The Urethra?
Hi there, so the past few days my urethra has been slightly irritated, it doesn t hurt & there is no pain when I pee or any blood. I is just a little itchy and my frenulum has gone a bit red, do you have any idea what it is and if it will just go away if I leave it? Cos I m only 18 and would rather not go to the doctor about it
Hello dear Understand your concern Following are the cause of itching and discomfort in the urethra. Urethritis, vaginal infection and vulvovaginitis. I would suggest to go for urine tests, vaginal examination and vaginal swab test to confirm the above causes. Take following advises: Take tablet septran plus nitrozolium and syrup cital. Vaginal suppository of clotrimazole and lactobacillus. Maintain proper vaginal hygiene by using V-vaginal plus wash. Wear pure cotton loose undergarments. Maintain proper hygiene after and before urination. Drink plenty of waters and juice of cranberry, orange and pine apple. Wash vagina with warm salted water 2-3 times/day. Hope this may help you
