What Causes Itching And Discomfort In The Vagina?

Good evening. My daughter has been complaining about vaginal discomfort. She has been scratching a lot. There was some redness, but that has disappeared. I do recall that her pediatrician in the past, recommended for me to place a little Epsom salt in her bath and allow her to splash the area. I am not sure what it is. I do believe that I need to take her to her pediatrician. She has told me that no one has bothered her in that area. As there are so many people that are sick in today s society with our children, that was a relief. Do you think that it could be a urinary tract infection.
