I got bit by what I believe are called no seeums ...have gotten a weird reaction...where the tiny bite is it got hard and big as a golf ball and feels like it s on fire...very hot to touch. Also have much smaller one on my fact...maybe size of a dime. Is this a normal reaction? Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your case history of itching on bitten area, my treatment advice is –
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an NSAID (Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) like Ibuprofen for 5-7 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
