What Causes Itching And Inflammation On The Ankles?

Yes ,I Have an area on my ankle that is red ,itchy and slightly scaly .I believe it is a combination of Pysriasis and athletes foot .I will be applying Triamcinolone emollient cream to the area .But is also would like to know if there is a recommended soap ,or a soak that would help.....

Hello,

Possible causes may include local skin irritation, allergy, psoriasis, athlete's foot. Triamcinolone cream is corticosteroids which may help control symptoms. Treatment with antifungal creams may be needed if need be. I will suggest you see the Dermatologist for examination.
